August is almost behind us, and we’re glad. We’ve spent the month working on the redesign of our SoundStage! site, which we launched on September 1. Created in 1995, SoundStage! was our first online publication, which is why one of its taglines today is "The Original Online Audio Magazine." It was the one that started it all. The redesign includes a number of improvements, as well as a slight tweaking of the name: SoundStage! is now SoundStage! Hi-Fi, to better reflect its content, and the place this landmark publication has in the SoundStage! Network.
One of the reasons we had to launch the redesigned site by the end of August is because September marks the beginning of the audio-show season. The SoundStage! The Final Stretch -- For Now |
|
Last month, we launched the newest version of our Ultra Audio publication, located (of course) at www.UltraAudio.com. This was the fourth of our sites that we’d redesigned and relaunched in 2010; the first was SoundStage Network (www.SoundStageNetwork.com), followed by SoundStage! Xperience (www.SoundstageXperience.com or www.SoundStageX.com), and GoodSound! (www.GoodSound.com).
Right now, we’re working on designing and preparing to launch a new version of SoundStage! (www.SoundStage.com). It’s the biggest of them all -- the first site we developed when we began, back in November 1995. And while we’re about to launch the third version of SoundStage!, redesigning the site has been a homecoming of sorts. Our goal is to have the new edition online by September 1. Insofar as the SoundStage! Network goes, we’re into the final stretch -- for now.
